The 2012 Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship hots up tomorrow as teams enter the playoff rounds. The Aussie Spirit looks set for a top four finish after two solid wins today.
Australia defeated Venezuela by 6 runs to 2 with Stacey Porter having a strong batting game.
Australia also defeated New Zealand by 7 runs to 0. Michelle Cox with 3 hits and Stacey McManus with 2 hits for the match. Jodie Bowering celebrated her birthday with a two run homer in the 5th.
